Work visa: Canada, Germany, Dubai

Working abroad means choosing the right route: with or without a job offer, with a recognised diploma or experience to showcase. We assess your profile and build the right file.

The possible routes

Each country has its own programmes. The right choice depends on your diploma, experience, languages and whether you have a job offer.

Germany

Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte): come and look for a job on site for up to a year, without a prior offer. You qualify with a diploma recognised in Germany, or by earning enough points (qualification, language, experience, age, ties to Germany), and you need funds for the length of the search.

EU Blue Card: for university graduates with a skilled job offer, with a minimum salary set every year.

Canada

Work permit with a job offer, usually supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) obtained by the employer.

Mobilité francophone: for French speakers with a job offer outside Quebec, with no LMIA required. A real asset for Cameroonian candidates.

Experience gained in Canada then earns points towards permanent residence.

Dubai

Contract-based work visa: the employer based in the Emirates sponsors your work permit and residence visa. The first step is therefore to secure a signed contract.

We check the offer and the contract with you before anything else, and support you until you get the visa.

Beware of job offers that look too good. A genuine employer never asks you to pay for a job. Before anything else, we check with you that the employer is real and the offer makes sense.

The steps

Timelines depend mostly on the job search and, where relevant, on recognising your diploma.

  1. Profile assessment

Diplomas, experience, languages: we identify the most realistic route.

  2. Preparing your profile

CV in the target country’s format, diploma recognition, language certificate.

  3. Job offer or Opportunity Card

Job search or Opportunity Card application depending on the chosen route.

  4. Visa file

Building the file, appointment and interview preparation.

  5. Settling in

Housing, steps on arrival and first days at work.

Documents to prepare

Employment letters must be precise: position, duties, dates, hours and salary. They are what proves your experience.

Indicative list: the exact list depends on your situation and destination. We give you the complete list after the diagnostic call.

    Your questions

More questions? See the frequently asked questions or ask them during the call.

Can I go and work without a job offer?

Yes, in Germany with the Opportunity Card, which lets you look for a job on site. For Canada and Dubai, a job offer is generally essential.

    Will my diploma be recognised?

It depends on the country and the profession. In Germany, diploma recognition is often a key step; for regulated professions, it is mandatory. We check your case during the call.

Do I need to speak German to work in Germany?

Not always for an EU Blue Card in some sectors, such as IT, where English is enough. For the Opportunity Card, language earns points, and some German is almost always a decisive advantage when hiring.

Does a work permit lead to permanent residence in Canada?

It can help: Canadian work experience earns points in Express Entry and opens access to the Canadian Experience Class. Calculate your CRS score.

Your career plan deserves the right strategy.
